Lenders, insurers, brokers, marinas, marking companies and police. Add boats, with their flags, in bulk by CSV or through the API. Look up any hull number free. Every record you write carries your organisation's name and the date, so a buyer's report says who said what and when.

Who feeds it

Lender

Record a finance interest the day it starts and clear it the day it ends. The one thing no UK register does today.

Insurer

Record a total loss the day the claim is paid, so a written off boat cannot be sold as clean.

Marking company

Link a marked boat to its hull number so a recovered one finds its owner.

Flag a stolen boat with the crime reference, and clear it when it is recovered.

How the writing works

One CSV, any size up to 2,000 rows a goColumns: hin, name, type, builder, year, length. Then flag, action, reference, note on any row. The same names as the API. Only hin is required.
Or the API, with your keyRead any hull number, read a boat record, read its flags, add records, add or clear flags. Sixty calls a minute.
Everything logged in your nameYou see your own log in the portal. A buyer sees your organisation's name against every flag you placed.
You never see an owner's detailsThe register holds owners' names and emails so it can act on their behalf. Nobody else gets them, including you.
