The hull number is on a plate at the back of the boat, on the right hand side, 14 characters starting with the country. No number? You can still register the boat by name.

We checked every UK source on 24 September 2026. The finance register covers 13,602 boats and cannot be searched. The stolen boat site could not be opened. No insurer shares write offs. So a report from us never prints a blank and never calls a boat clear when the truth is that no data exists.
